Manish Gudkha, CEO of Aprirose sat down with the editor of Hotel Investment Today to discuss the real estate investment manager’s future strategy having disposed recently of another hotel asset.
In the discussion, Manish explained the ambition for Aprirose to double its entire UK portfolio in the coming years with a mandate to be sector agnostic, looking at value as opposed to sector and not targeting a particular portfolio.
Manish explained that thanks to having an in-house asset management team, there is a huge opportunity to acquire assets that need some work, whether this is on leasing or the building itself. He said: “Debt is getting more available. Interest rate trajectories are on the way down. You’d think this would be the perfect time for catching up on transactions in the UK.”
